About Pronto Readymix Concrete.

Pronto Readymix Concrete is a leading independent readymix producer in Gauteng.  It is a key supplier to commercial and industrial construction projects.

In 2008 Capitalworks’ private equity team who specializes in partnering with entrepreneurs in significant mid-market businesses acquired 48.5% of Pronto Readymix.  This involved a name change to Pronto Building Materials (Pty) Ltd of which Pronto Readymix will be a division. This broader name is intended to encompass interests in quarrying,  fly ash, dry mortars and screeds.  Their major undertaking is to pursue quarrying opportunities for sustained supply of aggregates and extenders.

Pronto Readymix acquired its own fleet of trucks and has sub-contracted the balance to Lorry Owner Drivers (LOD’s) who are experienced in the readymix industry.  This ensures a fleet sufficient to meet our customer demands. 

Daily concrete deliveries are scheduled from each region to ensure efficient and timeous deliveries.
